Course Details

Learn To Sew Beyond The Basics is designed for students who have completed Learn To Sew In 4 Weeks or are confident with basic sewing-machine skills and are ready to make their first complete dress.

Over four classes, you’ll create a beautiful wearable dress while developing your pattern-reading and garment-construction skills.

Project includes:

• Dress – Learn to read a commercial sewing pattern, select the correct size, prepare and accurately cut your fabric, transfer pattern markings, assemble your garment in the correct order, finish the edges neatly and complete your dress with professional pressing and hemming techniques.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to follow a dress pattern, construct a complete garment and continue progressing towards more intermediate sewing projects.

Everything is included – sewing machines, pattern, fabric and trims are provided. Just bring yourself!
